Answers to Your FAQs
What do I need to do to confirm my date?
A signed contract and modest $600 deposit is required to hold your date. After receiving a copy of your contract, I will sign it and email a copy within a few days.
How many hours will you be shooting?
My standard package is up to 10 hours, but I’m very flexible! If you need more time, please don’t hesitate to ask.
How many pictures can I expect to receive?
This all depends on you! On average there are about 50-75 pictures per hour, but if the pace of your day is slower or faster, it can easily go one way or the other! For example, if you have 90 minutes of time budgeted for a meal, which will likely be time I’m not shooting as much (if at all). If there is a lot of travel between the ceremony and reception, that eats into your time as well! If your day is very high paced and you’re interested in taking a lot of portraits, we’re going to get a lot more. It all depends on you; I’m willing to go as fast or as slow as you need.
When will I receive my image disk?
In most situations, I’ll put the disc in the mail within one week. I’m too excited to work on your pictures to take any longer than that!
Do you edit your photos?
I review every single image to make sure the quality meets my high expectations. In some cases I’ll convert them to a gorgeous black and white, and in others, I’ll boost the color to make them really pop. I take a few artistic approaches to edit the color in different ways on images I see fit.
What kind of camera do you shoot with?
I shoot with professional series Canon gear. I own two Canon 5D Mark III cameras. Owning 2 cameras is critical to ensuring that in the case of equipment failure, I can still cover the day. Lenses I own include L series 35mm, 85mm, 135mm and 100mm macro focal lengths.
What does the base package include?
My base package includes a disc with all edited pictures on it. An album can be purchased for an additional fee.
What if something happens and you’re not able to shoot?
In the event that the unforeseen happens, I will first try to find a capable replacement for you. If a replacement cannot be found, a full refund will be given.
I’m ready to book – now what?
I’ll send you a questionnaire that will let me know how your wedding day will flow. Schedules, locations, specific requests, etc. are all covered in this questionnaire and helps me better prepare for your big day. I only ask that the questionnaire be completed at least two weeks prior to the wedding.
What is your style of photography?
I try to capture images that appear as candid and genuine as possible. Throughout the day I’m looking for natural moments that capture the feel of your wedding. While doing posed portraits, I’m quick to crack a few jokes to lighten the mood and capture genuine smiling and laughing moments.
Still Have a Question?
Shoot me an email and I’ll gladly get back to you! Emails are answered multiple times per day and at the latest I will get back to you the following morning.
